Passengers must contact their insurance carrier to obtain prior approval and provide Jo Daviess County Transit with an authorization number before scheduling transportation.

We accept the following Managed Care Organizations (MCOs):

For Medicaid/Medicare passengers, please call First Transit at 1-877-725-0569 for prior approval and provide Jo Daviess County Transit with an authorization number. For more information or assistance, contact us directly.

A trip outside of Jo Daviess County is $6.00 per hour from pickup to drop off. For trips within Jo Daviess County, we use a district map for fares. It is $1.00 per each district that is passed through.
For Example: Warren, IL to East Dubuque, IL is $4.00 one way, $8.00 round trip. Stockton, IL to Galena, IL is $3.00 one way, $6.00 round trip.
